Wednesday we received an email from our new interim superintendent
requesting a change in banking institutions for his direct deposit for this
current pay. Since he was out of the office we processed it. Thankfully we
pre-note all direct deposits when setting them up and when they make
changes. It all looked very legit, the check copy they sent us had his
address on it and the direct deposit notice of change from Bonneville Bank
had his actual social security number on it. The signatures were similar as
well.

We notified him that his paycheck would be an actual check this time due to
the change in banks and he said he did not change banks. We were able to
pull the prenote file at the bank and saved his account from being hacked.

The company is Greenspot.com using Bonneville Bank. They take your money
and put it one prepaid credit cards. We have reported this to the police
and they are pursuing it further.
