The Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center is assisting the Board in its
search.

POSITION:                              Superintendent

SALARY:                                Competitive Salary Commensurate with
Education and Experience

INTERVIEWS BEGIN:            Late May/Early June 2019

*The Community and its Schools: *



The Wauseon Exempted Village School District is located in Fulton County in
northwestern Ohio, approximately twenty-five miles west of Toledo.  The
community of Wauseon has a population of approximately 7300 people and
prospers economically from both agriculture and business.  The district
encompasses about 60 square miles. The District currently educates 1866
students at Wauseon High School (9-12), Wauseon Middle School (6-8),
Wauseon Elementary School (3-5), and Wauseon Primary School (Pre K-2) at
three distinct campuses. The community is proud of its school system.
Vocational education courses offered at the high school include
agriculture, family and consumer science and marketing education.  Students
may also attend the Four County Career Center.  Students can choose from a
wide variety of extra-curricular activities, including successful athletic
and music programs. The District’s technology program is outstanding and a
source of great pride.  The school district has been the recipient of
numerous State and Federal Grants.  Due to the close proximity of many
higher education institutions, numerous students are able to participate in
the post-secondary option program.
