[Mail_treas] IMPORTANT !!! W2 processing in Classic

Good morning,

The updates to W2PROC are installed.  You can continue with W2 processing.

There was a problem if an employee had two OSDI records in 2020.  I contacted districts yesterday that had created the W2OH.SEQ file to create a new file.

ITC's and Independent personnel,

A problem within W2PROC has been found.  If an employee has more than 1 OSDI record, an incorrect RS record is being produced.  This is a problem with the W2OH.SEQ file.

We are asking all districts hold off on running W2PROC to create tapes until this is resolved.

We are working as quickly as possible to fix the problem.

Please hold off from creating the W2 tape file until further notice.   I’m checking with state support about existing files.
