Good Morning,

I wanted to share a few tips to help with re-submitting your financial H collection in the data collector (some may need to re-trace back to FYE steps and the steps outlined below will help with this):


1.       First log into USAS-R, under the system menu please select configuration.

2.       Once the configuration options appear, select EMIS SOAP Configuration and ensure the year shows 2022 (this will ensure the data collector collects 2022 financial data through the SOAP connection, some users may have already flipped this to 2023):

3.       Next, log into the data collector (Note: you do not need to re-load the EMIS seq file as it is still in the data collector from when you added it from your first submission). If you want to ensure your EMIS.seq (extract) file is in the data collector click on other data sources

4.       Next, review the files in other data sources and look for a USASEMS_2022.seq  and if you have a 2022 EMIS.seq file, go to step 5  (Do not upload a new seq file which is the file you generated in USAS-R previously)

a.    If you do not have a USAEMS_2022.seq file in other data sources then go back to USAS-R and select the extracts menu, then EMIS

b.       Generate the EMIS file and ensure 2022 is selected in the drop down from USAS-R, save this file or likely it will be in your downloads to then upload to the data collector

c.       In the PDF attachment, see page 1 on how to upload the .seq file in the data collector

5.       Next, click on the collection requests tab at the top of the data collector screen, then in the collection request drop down, select FY22-H-Financial

6.       Then click on start/stop collection

7.       Finally, you can finish your normal steps to start, prepare, and submit your data collection (See page 2 of the PDF attached)

Multiple districts have reported the collection is taking longer than usual but we have seen them complete. Please let the collection to "sit" and if you don't see it complete before the end of the day please reach out to us.

Good Morning,

We just learned that ODE is requesting that ALL districts re-submit your FY22 Period H (Financial) EMIS data. Even if you've already submitted, they ask that you collect, prepare, and resubmit. There was an issue with the prior version of the collection that caused issues with inserting the cash record description into EMIS. ODE typically sends out a newsflash about this but they mistakenly did not send one out in this instance. Please let us know if your district needs assistance submitting your Period H data. The window to submit closes on August 31st. Thanks!
