We’ve been notified of some sort of email issue associated with messages coming from Lorrie Germann, State Erate Coordinator.  Multiple ITCs/districts have not received any communications from Lorrie.  I’m sharing Lorrie’s message from October 7th below.  Please forward on to anyone that might need this information.

I just want to share a few upcoming E-Rate deadlines:

October 28, 2022 - FY2021 BEAR (Form 472) deadline for recurring services (received July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022)

  *   To access the BEAR portal, you must log into OnePortal.   *   I suggest you verify your access now to allow ample time to get that added.
  *   If you need additional time to file the BEAR, you may request and automatically receive a single 120-day extension of the invoicing deadline to submit invoices to USAC. The request for an invoice extension must be submitted on or before October 28, 2022, for the request to be timely filed.
  *   To request the extension within EPC, click on the Billed Entity name on your Landing Page under “My Entities”, and then “Related Actions”. The “Invoice Deadline Date Extension Request” tool is the last item in the menu list. Enter the funding request number/s you would like to extend.
October 31, 2022 – First FY2022 Form 486 deadline for funding letters issued on/before July 1st, 2022

  *   The Form 486 deadline is 120 days from the FCDL date, or the service start date (typically July 1st), whichever is later.
FY2023 – Workshops will begin in early November, online and face-to-face.
