[Mail_treas] KIOSK - ESS Migration (Responses Needed for Every KIOSK District)

Good Morning,

Thank you for all the districts who have provided their survey questions, in less than a week we have about 75% of the responses!!!

We have started to draft a soft migration plan/schedule bases upon these results which we will share with everyone on the 4/26 meeting. If you are unable to attend we will share a copy of the schedule and record the meeting (to send out via email afterwards).

Currently, we are going to open up 2 spots the week of 7/29-8/2 for districts to be in our first groups to migrate (MVECA will be the first to migrate the week of 7/15 before we begin to migrate districts).

If you would like to be apart of the maiden voyage and volunteer to be apart of first districts to migrate the last week of July please email me (Ashley- may at mveca.org) today so we can incorporate this into the migration schedule (again we will take volunteers first come first serve). Note: This is open to districts too that have already submitted their survey responses.

We just have a few districts we don't have survey results from, I will reach out to districts this week to identify a date that works in their schedule and what we have open in the overall schedule.

The first week option from 8/5-8/9 is full, please note we have several 2nd choice option as the following week (please ensure your 2nd choice option is 3 weeks apart from your first choice).

If you selected the two weeks in a row please submit another response with your 2nd choice option that is 3 weeks from your 1st choice.

SSDT is moving Employee KIOSK to a new platform that will be named Employee Self Service. The migration timeframe is from July-September 30th. From an end user perspective the new application does look and feel very much like Employee KIOSK. We will be planning a training/demo with our districts to show the application very soon!

However, we need to map out the migration planning as this is on a very tight schedule. MVECA would like to survey our districts to plan out our migration planning to provide an opportunity for districts to select their 1st and 2nd choice options on migration date ranges.  We need your input no later than 4/22/2024 so we may have our migration plan completed before the end of the month. MVECA will complete the migration in July and we will begin migrating districts the first part of August. With our planning options we will plan to migrate 5-7 districts a week. If too many districts select the same week/s as their 1 and 2nd choices we may have to re-survey districts to ensure we allocate enough time/resources appropriately. We recommend and request districts to spread out your 1st and 2nd choice date range options by at least 3 weeks so we can try to accommodate everyone's 1st and 2nd choice selections.

The migration planning will be based on a 1st come first serve basis with 1st and 2nd choices and the overall schedule in mind. If no responses are submitted we will do our best to plan a districts migration around pay dates and available date ranges open.
