Good Morning,
This morning we received communication from the management council that support for KIOSK with the IPDP module will be extended through June 2025... ITC's will be working with the management council to work/develop a universal IPDP system available statewide to all Ohio licensed education staff supported through ITC's and this change will:
1. Allow all districts to stay with their current IPDP product - no change is required this year
2. All districts will be able to see what the "new" system will look like by very early in calendar year 25, which will mean no KIOSK-IPDP district will have to change platforms more than once.
3. This timing means that any district seeking data out of the existing Kiosk IPDP system will have plenty of time to review their data while considering any IPDP change prior to summer 2025.
So, bottom line - you do not need to pursue an alternative IPDP solution at this time and we will keep districts updated with any additional information as we learn of any.
Thank you,
Ashley, Marcia, & Brandy

Subject: KIOSK/IPDP Important Announcement
Good Morning!
Next week, on December 13, 2023 MVECA is hosting a demo presentation with Summit ESC to see a demo of their LPDC application. Some of you may have heard that next year KIOSK and IPDP will be discontinued. What we have recently found out is that KIOSK is moving to a new software platform in September of 2024 and the new version doesn't have a IPDP module. The ITC's across Ohio along with SSDT are information gathering at this time to identify alternative solutions to replace IPDP so we will provide any additional alternatives/information as we learn them.
All of our districts are welcome to join the WebEx demo next week at 9AM (The Summit ESC LPDC application is 1 alternative that we know other districts have used in lieu of IPDP) and I will send out a meeting invitation shortly. This is also an event listed out on the MVECA webpage. We will also record the WebEx and send it out to all of our districts by the end of next week.
Thank you,
Ashley, Marcia, & Brandy
