Good Afternoon and Happy Friday!

Today I was discussing the best way to clone/mass add Grant Accounts for the up-coming FY25 where the SCC is changing for the accounts with a district and I wanted to share this with all!

If you have a grant accounts lets say with a cash account of 572-9024 and next year you need to move all accounts that roll up to the cash account to a fund/scc of 572-9025 then there is a really quick option you can use under your accounts grid.

https://mcoecn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/usasrdoc/pages/3573034/Accounts#Accounts-MassAddAccounts

  1. Go to the accounts grid under the core menu and click over to the cash tab, filter/locate your grant account you need to change the SCC for
  2. Click on [cid:image002.png at 01DAB8E9.10666E10] to view a particular cash account.
  3. Click on [cid:image003.png at 01DAB8E9.10666E10] when viewing the cash account. (This will copy all appropriation, expenditure, and revenue accounts in a cash account to a new special cost center within that same fund)
  4. Enter the New SCC to be used on the accounts that will be added.
  5. Click on [cid:image004.png at 01DAB8E9.10666E10] to add the new accounts.

Important Notes:

  * Mass Add is only available on funds with a special cost center of 9000 or greater.
  * The new fund and special cost center combination must not exist.
  * Both the original and new Fund-SCC must have a special cost center of 9000 or greater.

Thank you!
