Good afternoon,
At 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22nd, MVECA will host a web conference on a Thomson Reuters service called CLEAR.  CLEAR is a cloud-based public records application that collects and analyzes thousands of state and federal data sets. It then displays the search results via a customizable, user-friendly dashboard.  While school districts can tap public records on their own to determine student residency, that's a time-consuming process - one that CLEAR has automated. It offers a fast and easy way to check all of this information, saving districts time and resources.  Because schools in MVECA's membership have expressed an interest in this product, we would like to attempt to save money on this solution by pooling the purchasing power of our members.  Here's what to do next:

  1.  Forward this email to your transportation, EMIS, administration, and enrollment personnel as appropriate.
  2.  Attend the meeting on March 22nd to view the product.
  3.  Email sage at mveca.org<mailto:sage at mveca.org> to express your interest in the product so we can use your districts' headcounts to help calculate pricing for the whole consortium.
