[Mail_treas] USPS CENSUS REPORT REHIRED EMPLOYEE

Good Afternoon All,
If you are generating the Census Report for 403B and 457 annuities from the Reports Menu, to submit to a third party vendor like Voya, and you are getting an error when you submit the file because the REHIRE DATE is not reporting, here is the fix. (in order for this to work the Termination Date must be blank or zeros)

Go to Core/Employee
Standard Payroll Section
Enter the rehire date in PAYROLL DATE 2 (we can change the field Name to Rehire Date)

Run the report with the following criteria:

  *   Select "Use User Defined Date 2 for Rehired Date
  *   Make sure to move Re Hire Date Property from Unselected to Selected

  *   You will notice, in the report, that column P will now report an R for rehired employees and column X will report a Rehire Date.

We were made aware that some districts are making manual changes in the third party vendor's software to show the rehire status and correct an error.
