[Mail_treas] New Help Desk for MVECA

Good Afternoon,

MVECA has moved to a new helpdesk and emailing us at helpfiscal at mveca.org<mailto:helpfiscal at mveca.org> will still automatically create a ticket. Our Tech team has learned that some district staff had created a SolarWinds accounts and were opening tickets within the service desk....now that we have moved to a new Service Desk this is no longer an option and as we have always advised emailing us at helpfiscal at mveca.org<mailto:helpfiscal at mveca.org> will automatically create a ticket for us.

For some you may also have a contact in your email address book for "helpfiscal at mveca.samanage.com<mailto:helpfiscal at mveca.samanage.com>" instead of "helpfiscal at mveca.org<mailto:helpfiscal at mveca.org>". If this is the case your email mail client will cashe from the old helpdesk. We recommend everyone who sends to the old system to clear the contact before sending to make sure it goes to the right address. Below are instructions from Brian that can be shared to your customers as needed.

Also, FYI when making tickets via forwarding into Salesforce make sure to pay attention to the "To:" field when sending an email. Sometimes it seems to not change automatically when you update the contact. Change it before sending the email then it should stay on the ticket just fine after that once they reply and it gets the right user. See below
