[Mail_treas] STRS ADVANCE Balancing Tools

Good Afternoon All,

In order to help with STRS balancing in June, please find attached STRS Advanced Position Balancing json file that you can import into USPS Report Manager.  When you run the report select the query option Cert.  This will provide you with a spreadsheet to begin balancing.   Attached also is an example spreadsheet called STRS Advance Report Balancing.  This spreadsheet is identical to the spreadsheet you ran from Report Manager.  There are some calculations and Notes inserted into some of the header to help with the calculations.  Hopefully this will provide the information you need when you are trying to verify if your certified staff are going to advance and if their Accrued Wages are correct, which will report on the STRS Advance Report and STRS Fiscal Year to Date Report.

Please also find attached a spreadsheet we shared a couple of years ago that will provide the calculations you need to balance the STRS Fiscal Year to Date Report.

We know its' a little early to be thinking about STRS Advance, but we thought we would get ahead of the game before we get too close to FYE.
