[Mail_treas] 1099's to Ohio

Good Afternoon,
We received the message below from SSDT just moments ago.
Please do not electronically submit your 1099 MISC and 1099 NEC to the State of Ohio until this is resolved.
We will send out another message when the hotfix is in place and the formatting is correct.


It has recently come to our attention that there is a new submission requirement for 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC for the State of Ohio.  Here is the link that describes the change: https://tax.ohio.gov/business/ohio-business-taxes/employer-withholding/w2-information-page

In order to support this we need to zero fill some fields we weren't previously and provide the ability to generate the proper format needed for filing with the state of Ohio (txt format).  We are working on implementing the changes in USAS now and plan to release via hotfix as soon as it's ready.  We are aware of the filing deadline and have made implementing these changes our top priority.

Please be aware that USPS does not support the Simplified W-2 Method.  The information shared in the link provided is specific to USAS and the 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC reporting to the state of Ohio.
