[Mail_treas] Initial 5 Year Forecast (FY25)- P Collection - Due 10/15/2025

Good Afternoon,

I have been working with the 3rd party, K12 on the new file/format they are providing districts for the 5-Year Forecast. If you are using K12 and they email you the CSV Output file ensure you do not open the file until after you have uploaded it to the Data Collector. Opening or downloading the file will cause the CSV to loose the leading zero's and thus once you preview the data in the data collector you would see zero invalid/total for the results.

I have created a guide to help our districts upload the forecasts directly to the data collector (For those using K12 as the file provided does not need to be converted). Please see the attached guide and reach out if you need assistance with the steps in the data collector....MVECA can not convert the K12 file in the flat file editor as it's not in the State Forecast Template. If any district is using the 5-year Forecast template I emailed out earlier, that can also be generated in USAS, we can help with converting that file in the flat file editor and uploading it to the data collector. Attached is the State format template for the 5-Year Forecast. If you would like MVECA to convert the 5 year forecast (CSV to SEQ) file to uploaded to the data collector we need the 5-Year Forecast in the state template (We need the forecast tab from this file for the flat file editor).

If you have a 3rd party providing the 5-year forecast please ensure they provide your data in the template or they send back your forecast file with the format on the forecast tab in the attached file.
