[Mail_treas] Digital W2's

Good Afternoon All,

We wanted to circle back around to Digital W2’s for 2026.
If you currently are offering Digital W2’s please remember to go back into the ESS System/Configuration/W2 Configuration and reselect Allow Digital Only W2.  These were turned off during W2 processing.
This may be a good time to offer this option to your staff.
Please find attached Digital W2 instructions for you and for your staff.
This is a simple process to configure and for your staff to enroll.
We had great success with those districts that participated, with the system differentiating between W2’s that were digital and those that needed to be printed.
In 2025 SSDT wasn’t ready until later into Calendar Year-End to offer this option.  And to our knowledge, there are no bugs with enrollment.
We are hoping more districts will implement this option with the hopes of being mostly digital at some point.
