--></style></head><body lang="EN-US" link="blue" vlink="purple"><div class="WordSection1"><p class="MsoNormal">It was great to see many of you at the OSBA Capital Conference earlier in the week.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">In order to facilitate prompt grass roots action on the unconstitutional charter school dilemma in Ohio, I have attached documents which you can use at your local level to shed light on this situation. Feel free to modify them for your own use. It is hoped that over 400 school districts in the state will pass similar resolutions and get the discussions started at their local and state level. I encourage you to share your information directly with your local media outlets, taxpayers, and elected state and local representatives. </p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">Regarding the invoice, I used numbers directly from each year’s annual settlement statement from the Ohio Department of Education. It took about 15 minutes to pull and print this info (for my files). (Yes I know that the deduction consists of both state and local resources – that’s one of the key points – local resources are being redirected to the state WITHOUT local taxpayer knowledge/approval!).
