For college credit plus, the District is responsible for paying for textbooks. However, we are running into some situations where students need to have access to electronic systems and electronic textbooks. Most of these are required for
the class, and allow students to complete assignments through the electronic system. I have had parents asking if we can reimburse them for the cost of these types of expenses. Has anyone received clarification on whether or not the District is responsible
for these types of items as well as textbooks? They appear to be “subscriptions” to the system or e-book, rather than a textbook.
