<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I just received good news from the State Software Development Team that districts will not need to file their own Ohio State Tax or RITA. We, MVECA, will do that as we have done in the past! We will append
all of our schools to a single file and submit to the Social Security Administration and Ohio. If you requested a file for RITA or CCA, we will be able to do that, too.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">We were informed in November that the state tax department changed their specifications for W2 submissions. The new submission is electronic. The assumption was that we
would still be able to submit for all of our districts appended to a single file. We just received notice that districts will need to submit their own file using the Ohio Business Gateway (OBG). Please login to the OBG and see if you have access to Upload
W2s. It should be listed at the bottom of Employer Withholding. If you do not see W2-Upload, you must request access. The deadline for filing is January 31<sup>st</sup>. You need to request the access ASAP.
