<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">We have been receiving questions regarding how to track Covid Sick Leave and Covid Family Leave to report on quarterly 941 and W2 box 14.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">To be proactive we have been communicating with SSDT. Today they sent the message below. Even though this message is Redesign specific, they will be developing
an enhancement for both Classic and Redesign.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">Since we are not sure how SSDT will be pulling the data from the software we are not exactly sure how to tell you to document these leave types.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">We would like to recommend that you utilize attendance sub category. You could enter CS for Covid Sick (personal illness) and CF for Covid Family (sick leave
due to family illness). Once SSDT releases the enhancement, if you needed to find the leave dates associated with Covid, using sub category would help provide a comprehensive report.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">The IRS documentation indicates that they will be accepting Covid leave wages starting with April 2020 thru December 2020.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

the data to the 941. USPSV-2019 and USPSR-5302 are to handle getting the data on the W2's.</span></b><o:p></o:p></p>
