<p class="MsoNormal">Our colleagues at other ITCs have been sharing reports of fraudulent ODJFS unemployment claims being submitted for both ITC staff and district staff in their regions over the last few days. We are being told this appears to be part of
a larger wave of fraudulent claims that has been going on since May. Here is some additional information:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I just wanted to send this to raise awareness. Please scrutinize any emails or paperwork for associated with unemployment claims. Unfortunately we don't have more details at this time, but we have now had one district report this sort
of activity. From what other ITCs are sharing, the data being used may not be complete. For instance, scammers might have the right address for the employee, but paired with a wrong SSN, etc. This is not related to any sort of data breach at MVECA.<o:p></o:p></p>
