<p class="MsoNormal">After reviewing the USPS documentation pertaining to Overtime and Blended Rate Overtime for 2026-2028 I was able to create a document that will help with understanding what you need to do to setup the positions Overtime Classification (EXEMPT
or NON_EXEMPT)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">How you will process the 1.5 rate of overtime. The portion of the overtime rate 1, will be reported as Miscellaneous Pay Type. The .5 portion of overtime will be reported as Overtime or Blended Overtime.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The FSLA field will need to be INCLUDED or EXCLUDED. Please read the document “ Reporting Overtime OBBBA 2026 thru 2028 for specific details.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">For calculating and reporting Blended Rate please see attached document “Blended Rate Calculation for W2 Reporting”.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Earlier today we sent an email with the option to mass load or mass change the Position Overtime Classification. I have also included those documents in this email as well.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Also included is the spreadsheet that was included in a previous email, that provides the data to create the Core/Adjustment mass load entry for 2025 W2’s. If you need the detailed instructions for that please let me know and I will forward
that to you.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Position setup and use of FSLA field in Current or Future are mandatory for W2 Overtime Reporting beginning with your first pay in January 2026. If you miss any of these you will need to enter a Core/Adjustment to correct the overtime
so it will report in Box 12TT on 2026 W2.<o:p></o:p></p>
