Hello,

I just installed a patch to the software that contains a new fund number 466 for the "Straight A Fund".   Please note that districts will be required to enter a fund type for this fund, as it can be treated as either a Special Revenue fund or a Capital Projects fund depending on its usage.

This file also contains the updates slated to come out this weekend on the December release to remove various function and receipt codes.  Please see the Appendix in the AOS USAS Manual for a list of specific codes being removed.  There will also be more details on this in the December release notes which will be included with the release this weekend.  Districts will no longer be able to create new accounts using the invalid dimensions.  They will still be able to use any existing accounts, but these will be considered invalid for EMIS reporting at the end of the fiscal year.  Districts that have not yet changed these to the recommended accounts will still be able to use ACTCHG to make the changes.  You are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
