[Mveca_usas] Roundtable

Good Afternoon!

Thank you all so much for the great feedback and ideas! The results are in:


*        There is an interest in both USAS and USPS Roundtables


*        How to configure the day: it was 50/50 between spending one whole day split up between Payroll and the Accounting side or a day covering each separately.



*        Great topic ideas were sent in, thank you!



*        The majority of those responding would like to move the Roundtable location around each time.



*        I have a few interested in forming a committee to help with the next Roundtable and hopefully ideas for future meeting and trainings. I will reach out to all of you very soon




Based on all of this, Deb and I decided to hold the first Roundtable here at MVECA on Wednesday, September 20th. We are planning for a full day split between Payroll and Accounting. I will put together an agenda of the topics (that were sent in) and send that out very soon.

As we go along, if we need to change something to make the Roundtables better, just let Deb or I (or the committee, once it is formed) know.

Hello,

Deb and I are planning our upcoming year of trainings and meetings. We want to implement a twice yearly Roundtable held in September and March each year. Please send us your feedback!


*       Are you interested in a Roundtable? If so, do you want to discuss topics relating to USAS, USPS, or both?


*       If you choose both, how does a day split between USPS and USAS topics with a break in-between for lunch sound to you? Or is that day too long? it may be best to dedicate one Roundtable each year to USPS topics and then the next Roundtable to USAS topics?



*       We want the Roundtable to be a casual meeting open to discuss any topics of relevance to you. We want to plan the first Roundtable for September, can you please send us some topics that interest you?



*       How do you feel about moving the Roundtable location around each time? We could start it here at MVECA and then travel to other locations for future Roundtables.



*       Anyone interested in joining a committee to help us decide what meetings and trainings are most important? Ideally, the committee will include Treasurers, USAS, and USPS representatives that will meet a few times per year.
