Hello!!
Please see below information about the BETA release of the Equipment Inventory System (EIS).  If you choose to participate in the testing of the BETA version, complete the form from the link below in Matt’s message.  Please let me know if you are going to participate.  I will need to make sure your data is ready to be extracted and imported into a test database.

Good evening,

We are excited to announce the beta release of the Inventory application.  The beta testing phase will run now through August 15, 2021.  If you have districts interested in participating in Beta, please fill out this form<https://forms.gle/AXVuhzRMkizFBy3x6> listing entity/contact information. If you have already been in contact with us concerning one of your schools that plans to participate in the beta there is no need to re-enter this data. However, if you have additional customers planning to participate please do submit this to us.

The new Inventory application uses a slightly different model for container creation, configuration and deployment. As a result, we are asking ITC staff that are interested in migrating EIS to Inventory during the beta period to register using the form included above.

An SSDT team member will reach out to both the ITC fiscal and technical contact provided and help guide you through the technical setup and data import process. We believe this will make the transition smoother for you and will also allow us to identify any potential shortcomings in our setup and migration processes prior to the first production release of Inventory.

In the interim if you and/or your customers wish to participate in the Inventory beta it would be beneficial to review the Inventory Pre-Data Extract Procedures<https://wiki.ssdt-ohio.org/display/ID/Pre+Data+Extract+Procedures> to ensure the classic EIS data is in a state that will help streamline the migration process.

We appreciate your interest in helping us to test and improve the Inventory application prior to its production release.
