[Mveca_usas] 1099 NEC File Submission - Due to IRS 1/31/2022 and MVECA list to submit needs confirmed - Action Needed

Good Morning,

There has been some confusion on when the 1099 file submission is due for 2022. I confirmed today on the IRS.gov website the 1099 NEC file submission must be submitted by 1/31/2022, the 1099MISC submission is not due until 3/31/2022 if filing electronically. Also, all 1099's and W2's must be post marked by 1/31/2022.

Below is a listing of our districts and those that have reached out and confirmed they need us to file on their behalf are listed with "mveca to submit" in red text. If you need us to submit your files we MUST hear from you if you are not notated as "mveca to submit" by this Friday 1/21/2022 as we will be filing the forms on Monday 1/24/2022. We only need to hear from districts that needs us to file on their behalf but are not listed as so on the list below. Please reply to this email if you fit this condition.

We HIGHLY recommend for those submitting their own files you start this process by Monday at the latest to account for any website issues that could occur and you get the confirmation back your file was good.
