[Mveca_usas] Password Changes- IMPORTANT Changes!

Good Morning,

Please note this for password reset requests where MVECA resets your password. We are not requesting any districts/users to reset their passwords. Also, this will not impact users who log in through SCView as they never have password resets since they are logging in through a SOAP call.

Good Morning,

We had to recently make configuration changes to all Redesign containers (auditors request) that all password resets are now pre-expired (like they used to be in classic). Now if you try to log in with your password reset you will get a login failed message that states: User credentials have expired. This doesn't mean the password reset is bad but rather the new password is expired.

***So now any time a user has a password reset when you are on the home/login page of USAS/USPS/EIS please use the change password link (shown above circled in red with a red arrow) and it will take you to a password change prompt as shown below. Please enter your user name, the new password we provided for your password reset in the "Old Password" field and then a new password of your choice for the last 2 fields of "New Password" and Verify New Password". Last click change password and it will take you back to the home/login page to login with your new password you entered.
