[Mveca_usas] Self Service Password Reset Tool Information - Recording and Handouts

Good Afternoon,

Thank you to all who were able to attend this mornings session. Attached is the initial verification question and answer by district and instructions that you may share with any district user who has a student information/DASL or Redesign account.

Important Key Notes/Updates:

  *   The Tech team did make changes to districts that were not able to access the URL, if you still can't not access the link please let us know.
  *   We have been informed that not every user will be prompted with the initial verification question, but if they are you can share with them the answer to the favorite color by district
  *   Each districts answer is uniform across the district for the initial security/verification set up, please see answer in the spreadsheet attached
  *   District admins (those who can set up student information/DLAS accounts and typically are the EMIS coordinator) can still reset passwords, now users just have another tool to reset their passwords themselves
  *   Users can still send an email to helpfiscal at mveca.org<mailto:helpfiscal at mveca.org> for a password change, just note passwords are computer generated for this method and can be very complex and hard to remember
  *   When you reset your password in the AD Self Service Plus tool it resets all your Fiscal/redesign and Student Information/DASL passwords at once time
