The May<https://mcoecn.atlassian.net/wiki/x/AQDBPQ> edition of the SSDT Newsletter has been published! It's packed with useful insights, updates and tools to keep you informed and prepared as we approach fiscal year end!  Make sure to take a few minutes to read through it - it's time well spent!

This month's feature articles focus on DEW and AOS.  We've highlighted several helpful resources available on DEW's website specifically related to Financial (H) and Staff (L) EMIS reporting.  Be sure to check out the links provided in the article to support your FYE EMIS-related reporting tasks.

One of the most talked-about updates this month is the recent release of the AOS updated USAS manual. AOS has posted the revised manual, the red line version showing changes, and a FAQ page on their website.  Appendix A in the updated USAS manual is a must-read.  You will notice that AOS structured their recent OASBO presentations to align with Appendix A, making it easy to cross-reference between the manual and presentation materials.  One of our feature articles in this month's newsletter includes a guide to USAS related tools (current capabilities and planned enhancements) that can assist you with the Action Items outlined in Appendix A.

In addition to our main articles, this month's DYKs includes some recent USPS updates, FYE-related reminders and a couple 'blasts from the past' to aid in your year-end preparations.  And last but not least, we included a reminder article about our monthly Release Recaps.  On the first Friday of every month, we cover the prior month's release updates with ITCs referencing our Recap wiki page which is a quick and easy way to stay current on software changes.
