[Mveca_usps] Staff EMIS L Reporting Period Training

Hello,

Announcing Staff EMIS training on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in MVECA Lab2 from 9:00 to noon.  We will discuss the changes for the new reporting period and review every staff EMIS element.  This training will target new users to USPS/EMIS.  Experienced users may want to attend as a refresher; no staff element definitions have changed.

Here is a table I sent earlier about the changes for the new reporting period L.  I've added another item, highlighted below.


OLD

NEW

2 staff reporting periods : K and N

One reporting period with a break at the semester

Staff reported as of October Count Week

Report all staff changes as they occur throughout the period

Supplementals only reported at yearend

Best available information about Supplementals reported as they are hired

If staff are reported as separated in October; flag N to EMIS for yearend

Staff will need to be reported the entire year


Supplementals were determined by the 8xx position code

Supplementals will be determined by the position_type=S
