[Mveca_usps] State of Ohio Change Remitting from Check to Electronic

Good Morning All,

We know that all districts have been receiving notices from the State of Ohio reminding you that as of December 9th remittances for State and School District withholdings will now process through OH TAX eServices (OBG has a link to this new website).
Please also note, if you have been remitting using a paper check, you will no longer be permitted to remit in this manner,  unless you have obtained an approved "opt out".  We have no information pertaining to the opt out, you would have to contact Ohio Department of Taxation.

If you need to update your Ohio payroll item to change from Check to Electronic, please go to Core/PAYEE and select ELECTRONIC.   From that point forward you will be able to submit electronically from USPS.  There may be an additional setup with OH TAX eServices.  You will have to check with them if you encounter issues when remitting.
