Good Afternoon,

On December 26th starting at 9PM SSDT will be performing updates to all Redesign applications. The system is expected to be down only Thursday evening into the early morning hours of Friday (2AM 12/27).  Please let your district users know the applications will be down starting at 9PM on 12/26 and will be available Friday morning.

Hello, all,

MCOECN Datacenter staff will apply patches and firmware updates to our core network physical switch infrastructure starting at 9pm on Thursday December 26th.
This will potentially continue until 2am Friday December 27th.    These are necessary updates to stay current on the most recent operating
system versions and security patches.  We do not anticipate any network outages as a result of these updates, though there may be one or two
brief delays in network traffic when core routers reboot and BGP routes recalculate to the redundant router.

Any unanticipated issues will be dealt with quickly to restore services.   Be aware that any unanticipated outages would affect all MCOECN hosted services
including but not limited to hosted State Software,  eFinancePlus,  Frontline/Progress Book, INFOhio, and hosted ITC Infrastructure.

I will send another reminder about this work during the workday on December 26th, and a follow-up email when all of the work is successfully completed.
