Good Morning MVECALAND,
We have encountered a couple of issues that I want to bring to your attention.

The first is Mass Load Headers.  SSDT has update so many of the headers, that the spreadsheets you are using, especially the spreadsheets to add new hires, are becoming obsolete.
Attached is the most recent version of the updated headers to add new hires.  Your district may use fields that are not listed on the attached spreadsheets.  Please go to the mass load documentation to add your specific headers.

The second issue I wanted to discuss is recalculating contracts and getting the pay per period correct.
To Calculate the updated contract you would:
Count all Days Worked and Leave Days Used (you must include any dock days)
Multiply by the daily rate
This will be the new recalculated contract amount.
In order to obtain the correct pay per period, enter the new contract amount on the compensation screen then click on the CALCULATE button.
(You may have to update the unit amount - sometimes that will change)

Now! You want to back into the contract amount to verify the pay per period is correct.
To do this:
Multiply the new pay per period by the number of pays remaining
Add the total of the Amount Paid field
If there are any docks  ADD them to this total.
This total must be the new Contract Amount you just calculated.

Following these steps may prevent contracts from paying out incorrectly this time of year.
