Good Morning,
MVECA is evaluating a video-on-demand service that would allow multiple entities to post video content on the Internet in an advertisement-free, professional-looking environment. The solution would include an online video library with hundreds of hours of storage for video content, all needed bandwidth for streaming of video content worldwide to thousands of users, and an encoding solution that would seamlessly convert your video content directly to MPEG-2 Program Stream (PS) for web streaming. A solution like this could facilitate the distribution of recorded classroom/instructional content, special programs, board meetings, etc.
POLL: If such a solution were available for $2400 per year or less, would your district be interested?
Please forward this message to the appropriate stakeholders within your organization and send responses directly to me (sage at mveca.org<mailto:sage at mveca.org>). Your response is not a commitment to consume any additional services.
Thank you,
Thor
