[Tech-l] Internet speed

Good morning,

Several of you have called about Internet slowness.  Currently MVECA has 1.5gig of Internet bandwidth.  We have been running at or near capacity for the past few days.  There isn't much we can do about it right now.  We are in the process of getting our 10gig middle mile connection but it's been delayed due to some issues at the hub site.  We're hoping that it will be going later this month or early in January.   Once that is in we can purchase additional bandwidth.  We are also working on increasing our bandwidth to our secondary connection.

We'll continue to look for ways to improve things until we can get additional bandwidth.
