Good afternoon!
Sorry for resending the newsletter if you’ve already received it, but I wanted to draw your attention to the section on our content filtering demonstrations.  We’ve invited two solution providers to visit MVECA and provide full product demonstrations on the 11th and 18th of May.
PLEASE follow the link below and register for both events.  There are overview fliers for each solution on the registration page.  Both sessions will feature a complimentary lunch!  All are welcome.  Please forward to any other interested personnel in the district.

MVECA Offers Tech Purchase Savings

Content Filtering Solutions Offered
Cyber Security is a priority for schools and parents alike, and MVECA will host presentations from two companies in content filtering, a leading cyber security area.
Content filtering can help keep your district secure and block inappropriate content. Securly, Inc. and iBoss Network Security will visit MVECA in May.

MVECA Welcomes New Board Members
MVECA welcomed new board members to the organization at the April 20 Assembly Meeting, and thanked departing members for their services.
Paul Otten, Superintendent at Beavercreek City Schools, was appointed to fill a vacancy on the MVECA Board of Directors.  His term will end June 30, 2018.
Richard Earley, Superintendent at Valley View Local Schools, was elected to a 3 year term to the MVECA Board of Directors.
Brad McKee, Treasurer at Southeastern and Greenon Local Schools, was re-elected to another 3 year term to the MVECA Board of Directors.
MVECA also thanks Mario Basora, Superintendent at Yellow Springs Schools, for his service on the Board of Directors since 2012 and for his contributions to MVECA, and Matt McCorkle for his service on the Board of Directors since 2016 and his contributions to MVECA.
