All,
See the info below encouraging HS aged girls to participate in exploring the field of cybersecurity. Please pass it on to teachers/staff involved with computer related curriculum.
MS-ISAC is an organization that we belong to and utilize for cybersecurity.

Subject: MS-ISAC CALL TO ACTION: MS-ISAC reminder for Girls Go CyberStart
Good morning Brian,
The MS-ISAC is partnering with SANS to help spread the word about Girls Go CyberStart<https://www.girlsgocyberstart.org/>, a cyber game to encourage high school girls to explore the fields of cybersecurity and computer science through a fun suite of challenges, tools, and games. Last year over 10,000 high school girls participated and we want to double the number this year!
According to the Leaderboard<https://www.girlsgocyberstart.org/leaderboard>, your state doesn’t have a lot of players yet, but registration to participate is open until February 14th! Could you please encourage your high schools to participate, send this information along to your board of education, teacher groups, blast it through social media, and anything else that will encourage girls to participate in this program?
If you’re not aware of the program, Girls Go CyberStart is made up of three stages. In Stage One girls participate in a fun online tryout called CyberStart Access. Girls who complete five challenges will move on to Stage 2: CyberStart Game, where they’ll master all the techniques needed to compete in an online game of Capture the Flag in Stage 3: CyberStart Compete. Any clubs that have at least 5 girls who qualify for Stage 2: CyberStart Game, will receive additional non-competition licenses for boys and other girls in their school.
We’re excited to share this opportunity with our members and hope that by working together, we can encourage another 10,000 girls to play this year!
Thank you for your efforts and dedication to our community!
