[Tech-l] FW: Chromebook Updates

Good morning,

We have noticed every morning that many of you have a dramatic uptick in your bandwidth usage and some are approaching your maximum.  This seems to be tied to Chromebook updates.

There are two settings that you should adjust in G-Suite administration.  If you are not the Google Administrator please pass this info on to that person.

In Device update settings->Auto-update settings->Rollout plan change this to "scatter updates".  Then change Device update settings-> Auto-update settings->Randomly scatter auto-updates over to "3 days".
