Hello Jeff,
Thank you for reporting this
We had a few reports on it as well
It seems to only affect Chrome OS 96 version
it is not an issue on the previous Chrome OS versions
Now Securly developers are trying to catch up with Google changes so we can address this issue
I will tag you on this engineering case so I can follow up when it is resolved

If you can, do not update to ChromeOS 96 version just yet until you hear back from us

After upgrading our Chromebooks and Windows devices to version 96, we are now receiving the "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS" message when trying to go to Google Images and even the Securly Lounge. We are unsure of what other sites this behavior happens on.
