The Miami Valley Educational Computer Association has an immediate opening for an EMIS (Educational Management Information System) Support Specialist.

EMIS Support Specialist Job Objective: Provides support, training and associated services relating to EMIS reporting processes to MVECA client organizations

Qualifications:

*Knowledge of computer environments and ability to train and support clients in the use of EMIS systems and reporting processes
*Knowledge of current EMIS reporting requirements and changes
*Proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet applications
*Proficient in office protocol, data entry, spelling, proofreading, and the correct use of grammar
*Strong communication/interpersonal skills
*Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals and documentation
*Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals
*Ability to conceptualize, evaluate, prioritize, and solve complex problems
*Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
*Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team

Other desired qualifications:
*Knowledge of SIS (Student Information System) applications
*Documented evidence of a clear criminal record
*Meets all mandated health requirements
*Associates degree preferred and/or high school diploma with equivalent experience

Salary commensurate with experience. 260 day employment contract.
