Good Morning!
We have become aware of an issue with reporting of the i-Ready Reading Diagnostics using CADI (Thanks Cindy!). If your district used i-Ready and uploaded your Reading Diagnostic Results using CADI; your results are being "ignored" by the state and all of your kids are showing not on track. We found this ticket at DEW (00206542).... IF you used CADI you can leave your results in and the state will ignore those results but you will need to re-load your Reading Diagnostic results using CAIR and re-submit your data. Please take a look at the FAQ link as it has been updated on May 23rd.
The i-Ready Reading Diagnostic assessments is discussed in the Reading Diagnostic and Dyslexia Screener Reporting FAQ: https://education.ohio.gov/getattachment/Topics/Data/EMIS/EMIS-Documentation/EMIS-FAQs/FAQ-Reading-Diagnostic-and-Dyslexia-Screener-Reporting.pdf.aspx?lang=en-US
i-Ready for Reading Diagnostic Reporting
For districts using i-Ready's assessment as a Reading Diagnostic, they should report Assessment Area Code "CAIR".
Districts are not required to report Assessment Area Code options CADF, CADI, CAML, or CAPR
for i-Ready's Reading Diagnostic results.
Districts that have already reported Reading Diagnostic results using CADF, CADI, CAML, or
CAPR can leave the already reported data or can remove those records. The data will be ignored by the
Department.
Thank you.
Melissa
