Post-testing Window Closes May 31st.

Remaining 2023-2024 calendar dates:

  *   WebXam support is closed on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day.
  *   The post-testing window closes on May 31st.
  *   The target for the end-of-year reports release is June 14th.

Test Retake Policy

Students graduating in the current academic year and intending to use the WebXam Graduation Option may retake Field-Tested WebXam Assessments one time after the assessment’s forms have been finalized beginning on the "Target for Field Test Finalization" date on the WebXam Calendar<https://news.webxam.org/calendar/>. This option does not require thirty days between retakes and is only available to graduating students who took the field test. Exceptions may be available graduating to students needing to earn CTAG credit.

No PRETESTING for Agricultural & Environmental Systems Courses in 2024-2025

There is no pretesting available for all courses in the Agricultural & Environmental Systems Career Field for the 2024-2025 school year. The assessments for these courses will be in field testing. Please email us<mailto:support at webxam.org> if you have questions or need additional information.

Recruitment for Advanced Manufacturing courses

We are creating new tests for Advanced Manufacturing, Semiconductors, and Vacuum Systems in June and July. If you have the expertise and are interested in participating, please email CETE<mailto:cete-recruiting at osu.edu> Recruiting.

Recruitment for Information Technology and Arts & Communication item-writing for 2024-2025

We will be creating new end-of-course tests for WebXam in the Information Technology and Arts & Communication career fields during the 2024-2025 school year. If you are interested in participating in the item writing process, please complete this sign-up form<https://forms.office.com/r/77N8TTNc3i>. We will reach out for more detailed information later this year.

CETE (Center on Education and Training for Employment) will be at Ohio ACTE

Members of the CETE Assessment Program staff will be at Ohio ACTE July 15-17th. You can also stop by our booth in the exhibit hall to discuss recruitment, test development, and test reviews. We will be presenting a WebXam update at the conference on a date to be determined.

Teacher Review Workshops

WebXam staff can no longer travel for reviews during the spring semester. As most system updates occur in the summer, we typically do not schedule Teacher Reviews during May, June, or July. Therefore, please be mindful of this when submitting your request for a review for (August – mid-December.) The minimum number of participants is 35 teachers. If less than 35 teachers attend the review, the hosting organization will be charged for the cost of 35 teachers. However, the hosting school or district can also invite teachers from nearby areas to participate if they have less than 35 teachers sign up. For smaller groups or reviews in the spring semester, WebXam may be able to schedule a CETE-hosted review on the requested date, depending on the volume of teachers and WebXam staff availability. This requires at least four weeks’ notice.
