[DistrictEmisCoordinators] Updates for HB96

Good Morning!

I know some of you have been asking about the changes/updates due to HB 96.  I can tell you that I just got off the EMIS Change Call and I have a little (I mean little) bit of information......

ODEW is still waiting on details; currently their program office is reviewing the language of the new Budget Bill with the changes that will need to take place.  I can tell you that if you go to the Fiscal Year 2026 Changes at ODEW you will see the following changes.....
26-119 - Updates to Absence Interventions
26-114 - Adds Student excuse guidance (in regards to driver education)
26-111 - Updates for OhioRISE program
26-107 - Adds collection of CLEP (college-level examination Program) scores - will probably be reported in the Other Accountability Collection
26-106 - Math Diagnostics - could be for FY26 or maybe FY27
26-104 - Budget and Three Year Forecast (moving from a 5 year forecast to a 3 year)
26-103 - Add program code for financial literacy exemption
26-70 - Science of Reading Training

They have these "earmarked" but at this time there is nothing to report on how this will be reported

I will pass along any information as soon as I receive it but it will also be posted on these change numbers as well
