Good Afternoon.

I just received the following notice and wanted to make sure to get it out to all of you....

The Civil Rights documentation indicates some DISC calculations, where IDEA and 504 plans are counted separately from those without IDEA or 504 plans, are determined by the CRR Effective Date. Currently, the disability condition is determined if the student had an FD record with a disability any time in the reportable school year. Since the calculations are not checking to see whether the student had IDEA or a 504 plan at the time of the discipline action, you will need to review your data for accuracy to verify that students being counted with IDEA or a 504 plan actually had those items on their FD Attributes tab on the date they received the discipline action, for example, an Out-of-School Suspension.  We are discussing future updates (for 25/26 CRDC) to better calculate these items.
