FY27 EMIS Changes Open for Public Comment

EMIS changes that are subject to this process must be posted on the website<https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Feducation.ohio.gov%2FTopics%2FData%2FEMIS%2FEMIS-Documentation%2FEMIS-Changes%2FFiscal-Year-2027-Changes/1/0100019bfa2e339c-2dc357b9-65ea-44b1-9fdf-117a1a0eb281-000000/dd4zn8vCvQHedaieReNjGaN0ol7_fkOulpSLWUuux2M=441> for 30 days for public comment, 30 days for the Department's response to comments, and then another 30 days for public review before changes are considered “final”.

The public comment period for the following FY27 changes closes at the end of the day on February 21. Please see the webpage at the above link for complete details.

  *   27-1 Updates to RIMP Code Reporting (gr 7)
  *   27-13 Removes legacy GY codes
  *   27-14 Clarifies CTE program of concentration reporting
  *   27-18 Updates senior only credential language
  *   27-20 Updates CTE subject codes
  *   27-31 Adds program code for FBLA

Reminder: EMIS Focused Training—Child Nutrition Direct Certification (CNDC)
The next EMIS Focused Training sessions are coming soon. This is a joint training with the Department’s Office of Nutrition and EMIS. Topics to be discussed include how to utilize the ODDEX module and related EMIS reporting requirements. District staff involved with direct certification, along with EMIS coordinators, are the intended audience for this training.
Dates and times for these sessions are as follows.

  *   Tuesday, February 10, 2026, 2:00 p.m.
  *   Friday, February 13, 2026, 10:00 a.m.
