Good Afternoon!

There are a couple of items that I wanted to make sure that you all were aware of:


  1.  I will be out of the office on Thursday, September 3 all day and will not have access to emails, etc.  I will be back on Friday and will try my best to get to everything.
  2.  The Attendance Dashboard that ODEW started last year was pulling from an ITC pull and that will not be happening this year.  This year they will be pulling this information from your EMIS Data Submissions so the dashboard will only update when you submit your Student Collection.  This was supposed to start populating the week of August 17th from your submissions.  This also means that districts are no longer able to opt out.
  3.  ODEW has also started a new dashboard for tracking education, career outcomes for graduates.  This is new to me and I have not had time to look at this but I wanted to share the information with you.   4.  Lastly, for the CEP districts - you should have received an email explaining that if you are a CEP school that you are no longer able to automatically report all students as economically disadvantaged.  So the reporting of 4 has gone away..... if the student does not meet one of the 4 criteria mentioned in the EMIS manual 2.5 you will need to update their disadvantagement status from a 4 to a *
