Good Afternoon!
In preparation for the 15.2.8 Compliance release coming out, I wanted to make you aware of a situation with the OCBA High School assessment results that districts may have downloaded.  When the announcement went out that the files were available for download, the vendor had changed the names of some of the assessments in the file to a name different than ODE's published file layout.  This caused a delay in getting our import process updated and out to you as we needed to know if the new names were the accepted names or if the vendor would be correcting them.  We've worked with the Office of Assessment at ODE and the vendor has corrected the names in the file.  If your school's file has Assessment names such as the incorrect names in the table below, they will need to download a corrected version of their results before they will be able to import their records.  The assessment names appear in column 913 - 941.  I've attached a copy of the record layout for your reference.

The updated OCBA Assessment import will now include the following additional capabilities:


*         Accommodations will be imported where they can be determined.  If a student took the test with accommodations and the correct accommodations value cannot be determined because of multiple factors, there will be a warning message on the Assessment Imports Management page explaining that accommodations couldn't be determined

*         The performance level will be imported and will now appear on the assessment records in Assessment Maintenance.  The performance level from last year's assessments was imported at the time you imported those results, however, it didn't display on the maintenance page.  You will now see those levels for all results.

*         A new Assessment record for the 3rd grade Reading Promotion Score will be created for students who took the 3rd grade ELA assessment and have a Reading Promotion Score in the assessment results file

*         The 3rd grade Promotion status will now appear on the Edit student profile page on the FN Attributes Tab below the Third Grade Reading Assessment results

*         The value of '******' is now available to be used for the Building of Test for students who took a Next Generation assessment or an End of Course Exam at another district

*         Students who took the test at another location out of the district according to the assessment results will receive the IRN value of '******' in the Building of Test field

The finalized release will be out later today or tomorrow pending final beta test completion.
