[Mail_emis] Update 5/9/2016

Good Evening
The following was discussed during the EMIS call today.

Grad Reporting


*         Grad reports were released today.  They included:

o   LGR reports for 2015-2018

o   Grad Dup reports- Report showing students that had already been reported in a prior year as a graduate that you are reporting for FY15.  If you don't have students that fit that criteria you will not receive a report.

o   Grad Test Required report.  This will only look at OGT tests.  If you happen to have a 9th grade student that graduated in 2015(very rare) that student would show on the grad test report

o   Grad Info report is not included yet. Should be out later this week.

o   Reports will be generated 3 times a week.

?  Wednesdays- Based on data in by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

?  Fridays- Based on data submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

?  Mondays- Based on data submitted by 5:00 on Friday.

*         This schedule will run through the close of the manifest on June 3rd.  ODE is not looking to extend the manifest.

*         Once the manifest closes, there will be an appeal process for any students that were not reported correctly.( Missed a grad, assessment data etc.)

*         Opening soon will be the withdraw appeal process for students that after they were reported, you found that they actually went out of state, to home schooling or to private school.

*         The SDC will hopefully be open by the end of the week or the beginning of next week.  It will start showing data for next year's report card. It will include LGR data.

*         When it first opens it will only have LGR data, ODE is working on a roll out schedule for data that will appear in the SDC.  It will give an idea of when reports will be available in the SDC.

*         When the rollover occurs the current reports will point to the new report card data.

CTE


*         CTE funding for FY16 was pulled yesterday.  ODE is planning on using this for the May #2 payment for traditional districts.  If there are major decrease for districts, ODE will go back to FY15 funding till the district reports new data.  The funding will be based on the last submission from the Mid-Year collection.

*         L2- Second Staff manifest should be out tomorrow and will include the new CTE reports for FY16.  If a district is rolled back to the FY15 data, you will not see reflected in the reports in the DC.

*         Next Pull for the next CTE data will be based on data submitted on May 20th.  That data will be used for the Community School Payment and Traditional Schools June #1 payment. JVS's will be paid in May on FY15 data, The next pull for the JVS data will be data submitted by May 25th.

Final Traditional Reporting


*         Final Traditional window is expected to open on Wednesday.  ODE is working on the WKC reports and updating the FTE reports. The FTE reports will update every day as data is processed.

*         WKC reports in the new manifest will be based on the data submitted at the end of the Mid-year collections.  As Districts submit new data, the WKC reports will be updated with current data.

*         WKC reports will run 2 times a week.  Thursdays- Data submitted by 5:00 on Wednesday, Monday-Data submitted as of 5:00 on Friday.


*         The CS manifest will be updated at the same time to include the WKC reports.

There will be several assessment manifests coming out this week.  David did not indicate which ones.

March reporting will not open on Wednesday as planned but will be soon.   The files for loading into the FFE will be in the manifest when it comes out.  I will send directions for loading into the FFE later this week.

CCP continues to be loaded into ODDEX.  ODE will being loading student data this week.


FYI
            To reconcile your May #2 data, save your FTE reports out of the Mid-Year collection as that will be the most updated data that will be used for that payment.
