FY16 Updates

SAT
Below is a chart that explains how the SATs for the March 2016 administration and beyond will be reported.  The New tests will come with an ELA score which will be reported as Reading. There will be a Math score which is reported as before and it will come with sub scores for Writing and Reading that will not be reported.  There will be more clarification once the manual comes out.

FY17 Changes

The sad change is that HQT to ESSA will not happen in FY17 :(

41429-Since PS is not unit funded anymore, the multiple special ed assignment areas are not needed anymore.
41750- Districts will need to start keeping track of students that were denied CCP due to not applying prior to the deadline and students that are billed for their CCP classes due to failure of the course or dropping after the drop date.  Since this will be required for FY17, and the process for applying for CCP is happening now, you will need to keep a list of those students denied for FY17 reporting. Once we are into FY17 you will need to keep a list of those students that you bill for courses. At this time, ODE is looking at it being a number of students reported on a DN record.
41898- Looking at defaulting data for District Relationship 3 students that the resident district does not have info for, and it taken only from the educating district.  Ex-Disadvantagement
42095- Looking at reporting requirements and possible updates to reporting directions. Location served-involves ESC.  When ESC reports ECE PS students the attending building IRN is the ESC.  May have more specific reporting instructions about the Location IRN of students in ECE programs.
42098 Score not reported for KG students that were retained but not reported in the Retention manifest as retained.  This will help with the missing KRA list.
42423- There will be a new USAS code for tracking book purchases for CCP
