Good morning
The following was discussed during the EMIS call this morning
* Processing Data
o Over the next 2 weeks ODE will be in the process of wrapping up FY15 and FY16 Data. In order to do this the processing timeline for FY17 data is going to be disrupted. Below is a chart on the changes to processing through next Tuesday. If you submit data today, it will be held for processing till tomorrow evening. Your manifests will show pending processing. If you resubmit the same manifest tomorrow, ODE will pick up the latest manifest and the first submission will not be processed.
o Friday is a state holiday so ODE will be closed. They need to do major database updates so they will begin those on Thursday evening so no data will be processed from Thursday to Sunday. Monday you should see updated reports.
FY 17 Data Processing for this week and next

11/10/2016 though the end of the weekend.
No Data Processing -Major database updates will be done at ODE Data will be refreshed by 11/14/2016
11/14/2016
Processing FY16 Data-Try to get Data Appeal Data processed.
11/15/2016
Normal Processing
* New Manifests Open
o Calendar Final
o 5yr4 Optional
o Staff and Several Assessments manifest should be open by the end of the week.
* OELPA
o OELPA results are back but you cannot load them into DASL yet. The 16.2 update that will be out sometime this month will have the update to the load process.
? The manifest will be open later this week. It will be a short collection time, it will end before the winter holidays.
* Appeals.
o Funding Appeals
o Data appeals closed last Friday. Some districts will have a manifest reopened for them, others since it is just a few students will not have the manifest reopened. ITC's will get a list of districts with appeals. If you have the new manifest it must be submitted by 11:59 on 11/8/2016. I looked through the DC and I did not see anyone with a new manifest. If you do make the list we will notify you.
o Grad Appeals.
? Tomorrow- Grad Supplementary - changes in withdraw dates when the withdraw date was reported correctly based on the data that you had at the time, but after the close of year end you found out the student withdrew to out of state, to private or home school and that student should not be in your Grad Cohort. You have until 11:59 p.m. tomorrow to process that form.
? November 10th - Grad Appeals need to be completed. Usually mis- reported data or missed Grads.
? ODE has started to reopen G Manifests for some districts. If you put in an appeal check to see if you have the manifest.
? If you have any grad students that are in your cohort and you need to deactivate the SSID please do that as soon as possible. ODE could be done running Grad data within the next 2 weeks.
? Grad Only students can still be an issue. You will not need to file an appeal for them as long as your data is DC and has been reported.
* Files tab in the Data collector
o You will start to see additional files under the files tab
? At least one more Prep for Success file based on the Appeals Data(FY16 and 15 Cohorts)
? Reports around the FY18 cohort of students. ODE is concerned that FY18 students Grad requirements are not being fully reported. Students that took courses( before the EOC was available)- you need to report an assessment record for this. All EOC data can be reported in each EOC manifest so you can update students and get them reported as the manifest open.
* FE records
o ODE is concerned that the FE records for students are not fully being reported. For each grad exemption a student receives 3 points. If you fail to enter the exemptions ODE will not be able to process grad points for the students.
? Remember that the FE record needs to be reported EVERY year from the time of the exemption till graduation for each exemption subject. Report it for IIEP, RIEP, and AIEP.
* CCP Data
o Getting closer to having District data loaded.
o FY17 data for colleges had been updated through October. ODE is concentrating on getting the agreements in.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Have a great evening!!
