[Mail_emis] Update - 8-25 EMIS Call

The following is from the ODE EMIS call on Friday August 25th.
Student Course Record Appeals Manifest
It is extended to September 13th. It is available to all districts and Community schools. I see that it is not appearing for all schools so we will have to re-request the manifest which will not happen till tomorrow morning. I will let all know when the request is complete. ODE will be manually processing the data, so your manifest will stay at pending processing. Do not be concerned. Once ODE has processed the data they have received there will be updated reports sent out. Most likely sometime late this week or next week. The reports will only contain CTE courses.
Retention Collection
Data from this manifest is needed for the LRC. Last Thursday ODE received the Summer 3rd Grade Reading results. ODE loaded the results into the SDC. On Monday ODE incorporated the results into the TGRG along with the retention data submitted by districts. Please make sure you go into the SDC to check your data. Districts that we looked at today are reflecting the summer results and the retention data,
We will not be reporting the summer Reading results. ODE will use the vendor file so it is very important that you check the SDC to make sure that all of your students that passed the summer Reading are reflected in the SDC. If you received results for any of your students that did not have the SSID included, ODE will not be able to load those scores or if there is a student that you think passed the Summer reading and it is not being reflected in the SDC, that is something that you will need to file an appeal on. The appeal window will open on September 1st and will close on September 6th. It is a VERY SHORT window. The appeal includes Retention appeals or Summer ELA appeals.

A new version of the Retention manifest to help with SSID changes last year. We have checked the manifests after the new version come out and it has fixed the issues.

Community School Data will be pulled September 22nd for October funding. ODE is hoping to go with live data from funding for traditional schools in November. It is very important that you get your calendar submitted. The initial calendar collection is closing on September 29th
The closing date for the initial staff collection will be very firm at January 31 due to federal requirements.
Missing lists for Fall 18 Assessments. All will have missing lists. Missing lists should be populated at the very beginning of the manifest.
